Abstract

This ARTICLE explores the issue of the standard of proof in relation to presidential election petitions and reviews two recent decisions by the apex courts in Kenya and Ghana. These are of particular interest given the very different approach of the UK courts to election petitions and epitomised in the case of Erlam and Others v Rahman and Others.
